I think we did a staged shoot at the Warehouse in Columbia, SC, now known as the Warehouse LIVE. They call in a bunch of friends and fans, and we shot for about 2 hours. One camera. Whew.hen, I was Palance Music and Media.
I began shooting videos with a colleague around 2009. I was .... not good. After graduating with a Media Arts degree with an audio focus, my video work left much to be desired.
Alas, years pass, I buy my own camera ( a Canon 60D, if memory serves me right), and I shot my first paid gig under my own name. Through the years, I would shoot more and more for myself until I would eventually head off on my own as Soda City Films.
Here is that first video for local musicians, Villa*nova (then signed as Weaving the Fate), in all of it's small sensor, dark, shaky and out-of-focus glory.

The second part of the shoot was at a live concert at the restaurant formerly known as Jillian's.
All in all, I look back and I'm still pretty satisfied with the outcome.
